FateBook, in plain terms
FateBook is a free BaZi calculator and personal-insight service at fatebook.si. It turns a birth date, time and city into a precise Four Pillars chart and explains it in modern, plain English — patterns, not predictions.
What it does
- Calculates the four pillars, Day Master, hidden stems, Five Elements balance, Ten Gods and pillar interactions. How the calculator works.
- Explains the chart through ten Day Master archetypes — the Oak, the Candle, the Ocean and so on. Meet all ten.
- Writes readings on personality, career and wealth, love and relationships, and daily guidance as the calendar meets your chart.
- Offers a personal FateBook in eight chapters, with the first two free.
How it is different
Accuracy first. Exact solar terms, the birthplace's historical time zone and daylight-saving rules, true solar time for the day and hour pillars. Most free calculators skip at least one of these.
Deterministic chart, AI only for words. The chart is pure calculation. A language model writes the readings from the calculated chart and never invents chart data.
No fortune-telling. FateBook never gives dated predictions. It describes tendencies and invites reflection.
Free to explore. The chart is free without sign-up; readings use 10 free credits a day.
Privacy
Birth details are used only to calculate your chart and write readings. No advertising trackers. You can delete your data at any time. Privacy policy.
Frequently asked
What is FateBook?
FateBook (fatebook.si) is a free online BaZi calculator and personal-insight service. It calculates your Four Pillars of Destiny chart from your birth date, time and city, and explains it in plain English: your Day Master, Five Elements balance, Ten Gods and readings on personality, career, love and daily guidance.
Is FateBook free?
Yes. The birth chart is free with no sign-up required. Readings use 10 free credits a day; a complete eight-chapter FateBook and extra credits are optional one-time purchases.
How accurate is FateBook's BaZi calculation?
The chart is computed deterministically: year and month pillars turn at the exact instants of the solar terms; the birth time is converted using the birthplace's historical time zone and daylight-saving rules; day and hour pillars use true solar time (longitude and equation of time); the day changes at 23:00. AI is used only to write the interpretation, never to calculate the chart.
Does FateBook predict the future?
No. FateBook describes patterns and tendencies — how you work, love, decide and recharge — and explicitly avoids dated predictions. It is designed for reflection and entertainment, not as medical, legal or financial advice.
What do I need to use FateBook?
Your date of birth, your birth time (optional) and your birth city. Nothing else. Saving your chart is optional and works with Google sign-in or an emailed code.
Who is FateBook for?
English-speaking readers curious about Chinese astrology who want an accurate chart and a modern, non-superstitious explanation — people who enjoy Western astrology, MBTI or Human Design and want to explore BaZi.
